About Foundry Equipment
A foundry is a facility where cast metal parts are manufactured. The metal is generally melted in a furnace and then poured into a mold and allowed to solidify in the mold to give the cast part the desired shape. The most commonly processed metals are aluminum and cast iron; other metals, including steel, brass, bronze, zinc, and magnesium are also used in foundries to produce cast parts.
